Mountain Brook defeats Helena 61-50

Mountain Brook’s Sean Elmore led all scorers with 19 points as the Spartans beat Helena 61-50 in a game at Helena High School.”

Elmore’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Helena was led by Justin Stuckey’s 10 points and Dionte Talbert added 10. Helena fell to 0-1 overall while Mountain Brook improved their record to 2-0.

Helena’s next game is scheduled to be played at Spartan Arena on Friday Dec. 2 at 7:30pm versus Mountain Brook. Mountain Brook will travel to Pelham High School on Friday Nov. 18 at 7:30pm to play Pelham.
