Mountain Brook edges Huffman 69-64

Mountain Brook’s Trendon Watford led all scorers with 19 points as the Spartans beat Huffman 69-64 in a game at Pete Hannas Center.”

Watford’s points came on 7 field goals and 5 of 7 free throws during the game.

Huffman was led by Myreon Jones’ 27 points and Travarus “Bob” Carroll added 15. Huffman fell to 0-1 overall while Mountain Brook improved their record to 13-0.

Huffman’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 10 at 7:30pm versus Mountain Brook. Mountain Brook will host Madison County on Monday Dec. 26 at 1:22pm.
