JSerra Catholic Lions beat Desert Vista Thunder 63-57 in Arizona high school basketball game

J Serra Catholic Guard Ian Martinez led all scorers with 32 points as the Lions beat Desert Vista Thunder 63-57 in a game at Torrey Pines.

Martinez’s points came on 7 field goals, 3 three pointers and 9 of 11 free throws during the game.

Marcus Wady added 9. Desert Vista fell to 4-2 overall while J Serra Catholic improved their record to 15-2.

Desert Vista’s next game is scheduled to be played at Pinnacle High School on Wednesday Jan. 15 at 7:00pm versus Pinnacle. J Serra Catholic will travel to on Saturday Jan. 4 at 6:00pm to play Sage Hill.
