Piggott Mohawks edge Bay Yellowjackets 28-26 in Arkansas high school basketball game

Piggott Guard Emma Hooten led all scorers with 12 points as the Mohawks beat Bay Yellowjackets 28-26 in a game at Piggott, AR.

Hooten’s points came on 5 field goals and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Keyana Dodson added 11. Bay fell to 1-4 overall while Piggott improved their record to 1-0.

Bay’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Nov. 29 versus Buffalo Island Central. Piggott will host Maynard on Thursday Dec. 2
