Andrew Thunderbolts crushes Thornwood Thunderbirds 49-6 in Illinois high school football game

Andrew High School cornerback Jack LoConte accumulated 103 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide the Andrew Thunderbolts to a 49-6 win over the Thornwood Thunderbirds on Thursday morning at Andrew in a high school football game.

The Thunderbolts also received major efforts from fullback Brady Tanquilut who rushed 13 times for 96 yards and 1 touchdown and quarterback Drew Silvia who completed 2 passes for 31 yards.

Thornwood’s gill fish threw for 42 yards and Jim bob picked up 63 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Andrew improve to 1-0 on the season while Thornwood falls to 0-1. This morning’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Andrew travels to Oswego, IL to take on the Oswego Panthers on Friday September 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Thornwood travels to Bradley, IL to take on the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers on Friday September 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
