Southridge Raiders edges Washington Hatchets 71-70 in Indiana high school basketball game

Southridge Guard Colson Montgomery led all scorers with 35 points as the Raiders beat Washington Hatchets 71-70 in a game at Hatchet House.

Montgomery’s points came on 11 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 7 free throws during the game.

Tyson Wright added 12. Washington fell to 1-2 overall while Southridge improved their record to 11-4.

Washington’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Feb. 16 at 7:30pm versus South Knox. Southridge will host Gibson Southern on Thursday Jan. 31 at 5:00pm.
