Columbus East crushes Seymour 49-13

QB Cole Gilley picked up 282 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Columbus East to a 49-13 win over Seymour on Friday night at John Stafford Field.
The Olympians also received crucial efforts from RB Mark McDonald who rushed 17 times for 142 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Lance Griewe who caught 4 passes for 69 yards.
Seymour’s Brendan Smith threw for 39 yards and 1 touchdown, Nathan O’Mara picked up 202 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Ely Henderson had 18 receiving yards.
The win helps Columbus East improve to 9-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday August 31, Columbus East came out in front, 49-13.
