Eastern defeats Covenant Christian 65-59

Eastern’s Rachel Stewart led all scorers with 34 points as the Lady Musketeers beat Covenant Christian 65-59 in a game at Richmond.”

Stewart’s points came on 9 field goals, 2 three pointers and 10 of 15 free throws during the game.

Covenant Christian was led by Rebecca Schrad’s 16 points and Emma Cooper added 13. Covenant Christian fell to 0-0 overall while Eastern improved their record to 21-7.

Eastern will host Oak Hill on Saturday Feb. 25 at 12:45pm.
