Marion Freshmen defeats Cpu 33-27

Marion Freshmen’s Jaffer Murphy led all scorers with 13 points as the Indians beat Cpu 33-27 in a game at Marion.”

Murphy’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Cpu was led by Ethan Sells’ 10 points and Mitch Balek added 8. Cpu fell to 0-2 overall while Marion Freshmen improved their record to 10-0.

Marion Freshmen will travel to Oelwein on Saturday Jan. 28 at 12:45pm to play Oelwein Fresh.
