Iota Bulldogs cruises by Mamou Demons 57-0 in Louisiana high school football game

Iota High School quarterback Peyton Renfro picked up 169 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Iota Bulldogs to a 57-0 win over the Mamou Demons on Friday night at Mamou High School in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received helpful efforts from running back Jacob Cormier who rushed 12 times for 140 yards and 3 touchdowns and running back Landon Duhon who rushed 5 times for 23 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mamou’s quarterback Zamurri Brown threw for 9 yards and defensive back Andre Vidrine had 9 receiving yards.

The win helps Iota improve to 5-3 on the season while Mamou falls to 0-8. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Iota will face off against the Port Barre Red Devils at home on Friday October 27. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
