Albany’s Tysen Gerads led all scorers with 33 points as the Huskies beat Minnewaska Area Lakers 70-62 in a game at Glenwood, MN.

Gerads’ points came on 10 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 8 free throws during the game.

Ethan Quelle added 23. Minnewaska Area fell to 1-6 overall while Albany improved their record to 9-2.

Minnewaska Area’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 14 versus Barnesville. Albany will host St. Cloud Cathedral on Friday Jan. 14
