Detroit Lakes Lakers cruises by Staples-Motley Cardinals 82-39 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Detroit Lakes Guard Jacob Bettcher led the way with 17 points as the Lakers beat Staples-Motley Cardinals 82-39 in a game.

Bettcher’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Max Strickland added 5. while Detroit Lakes improved their record to 2-3.

Detroit Lakes will host Thief River Falls on Thursday Dec. 20 at 5:30pm.
