Detroit Lakes Guard Tate Kerzman led all scorers with 20 points as the Lakers beat Zimmerman Thunder 89-66 in a game at Perham High School.

Kerzman’s points came on 4 field goals, 3 three pointers and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Jeg Schottenbauer added 13. Zimmerman fell to 0-1 overall while Detroit Lakes improved their record to 4-4.

Zimmerman’s next game is scheduled to be played at Big Lake High School on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 12:00pm versus Big Lake. Detroit Lakes will travel to on Thursday Jan. 10 at 5:30pm to play Perham.
