Grand Rapids Forward John Sutherland led all scorers with 37 points as the Thunderhawks beat Detroit Lakes Lakers 95-73 in a game at Grand Rapids, MN.

Sutherland’s points came on 14 field goals, 1 three pointer and 6 of 8 free throws during the game.

Ben Stearns added 13. Detroit Lakes fell to 11-13 overall while Grand Rapids improved their record to 1-1.

Detroit Lakes’ next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Feb. 26 at 5:30pm versus Moorhead.
