Deer River’s Noah Williams led the way with 20 points as the Warriors beat Lakeview Christian Academy Lions 69-63 in a game.

Williams’ points came on 8 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Brandon Barbuda added 11. Lakeview Christian Academy fell to 1-0 overall while Deer River improved their record to 6-3.

Deer River will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 8 at 5:15pm to play Cass Lake Bena.
