Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm beat Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres 14-7 in Minnesota high school football game

Sauk Rapids Rice High School quarterback Cade Milton-Baumgardner had 124 passing yards to help the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to a 14-7 win over the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres on Friday night at Sartell MN in a high school football game.

The Storm also received helpful efforts from running back Noah Jungwirth who rushed 17 times for 67 yards and running back Josh Krebs who rushed 7 times for 43 yards and 1 touchdown.

Sartell-St. Stephen’s quarterback Will Thompson threw for 98 yards, running back Rylen Groth picked up 72 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Kaiden Garlock had 40 receiving yards.

The win helps Sauk Rapids-Rice improve to 2-0 on the season while Sartell-St. Stephen falls to 0-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Sauk Rapids-Rice will take on the Monticello Magic at home on Friday September 15. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
