Yellow Medicine East’s Shelby Mortensen led all scorers with 28 points as the Sting beat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints 77-39 in a game at Granite Falls, MN.

Mortensen’s points came on 14 field goals during the game.

Acelynn Hacker added 10. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg fell to 4-10 overall while Yellow Medicine East improved their record to 5-5.

Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 20 versus Canby. Yellow Medicine East will travel to on Friday Jan. 21 to play Lac Qui Parle Valley.
