Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg Forward Sophia Oerter led all scorers with 18 points as the Fighting Saints beat East Central Eagles 53-22 in a game at Kerkhoven, MN.

Oerter ‘s points came on 7 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Elsie Laursen added 11. East Central fell to 1-6 overall while Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg improved their record to 6-3.

East Central’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 3 versus Braham. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg will host Renville County West on Monday Jan. 2
