Sauk Centre Mainstreeters edge Royalton Royals 51-49 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Sauk Centre’s C Kortan led all scorers with 19 points as the Mainstreeters beat Royalton Royals 51-49 in a game at Royalton, MN.

Kortan’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 7 of 8 free throws during the game.

Kylie Waytashek added 15. Royalton fell to 12-9 overall while Sauk Centre improved their record to 13-6.

Royalton’s next game is scheduled to be played at BBE HS on Tuesday Feb. 14 versus Belgrade Brooten Elrosa. Sauk Centre will travel to on Friday Feb. 10 to play Benson.
