Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg Guard Maret Gjerde led all scorers with 19 points as the Fighting Saints beat Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks 58-20 in a game at Kerkhoven.

Gjerde’s points came on 2 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Laney Bartunek added 3. Dawson Boyd fell to 0-1 overall while Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg improved their record to 1-6.

Dawson Boyd’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Mar. 8 versus Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg will travel to Clara City on Friday Feb. 12 to play Maccray.
