Lac Qui Parle Valley’s Taylor Shelstad led the way with 18 points as the Eagles beat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints 65-55 in a game at Madison.

Shelstad’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 7 of 7 free throws during the game.

Maret Gjerde added 21. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg fell to 4-13 overall while Lac Qui Parle Valley improved their record to 12-2.

Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Mar. 6 versus Yellow Medicine East.
