Kimball Cubs defeat Royalton Royals 47-37 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Kimball’s Ellie Kuechle led all scorers with 19 points as the Cubs beat Royalton Royals 47-37 in a game at Royalton.

Kuechle ‘s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 7 free throws during the game.

Kylie Waytashek added 12. Royalton fell to 0-3 overall while Kimball improved their record to 1-0.

Royalton’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 28 versus Maple Lake. Kimball will host Royalton on Friday Feb. 19
