De La Salle Forward Billy Haggerty led all scorers with 18 points as the Spartans beat Coronado Cougars 63-35 in a game at Torrey Pines - SBLive Sports Holiday Classic.

Haggerty’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Josiah Cunningham added 13. Coronado fell to 5-5 overall while De La Salle improved their record to 9-2.

Coronado’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 10 versus Palo Verde. De La Salle will host Tba on Wednesday Dec. 28
