New Hanover Wildcats edge Hoggard Vikings 44-41 in North Carolina high school basketball game

New Hanover’s Rodmik Allen led the way with 17 points as the Wildcats beat Hoggard Vikings 44-41 in a game at Wilmington, NC.

Allen’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Jack Voth added 18. Hoggard fell to 12-5 overall while New Hanover improved their record to 2-0.

Hoggard’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 20 versus West Brunswick . New Hanover will travel to Wilmington, NC on Thursday Feb. 9 to play Hoggard.
