Wake Forest Cougars beat Hoggard Vikings 17-7 in North Carolina high school football game

Wake Forest High School Kavon Simmons accumulated 116 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Wake Forest Cougars to a 17-7 win over the Hoggard Vikings on Friday night at Wake Forest, NC in a high school football game.
The Cougars also received helpful efforts from Rico Alston who rushed 2 times for 42 yards and Quay Armston who rushed 5 times for 27 yards.
Hoggard’s quarterback Hudson Wilharm threw for 195 yards, running back Cayden Hollar picked up 26 rushing yards and wide receiver Skyler Merrill had 54 receiving yards.
The win helps Wake Forest improve to 4-0 on the season while Hoggard falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
