Hoggard Vikings defeat Topsail Pirates 10-0 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School <a href=’/north-carolina/football/teams/248646-hoggard-vikings/players/1010652-mkel-bellamy’ alt=’running back M’Kel Bellamy’> running back M’Kel Bellamy</a> had 147 rushing yards to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 10-0 win over the Topsail Pirates on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received crucial efforts from quarterback Hudson Wilharm who completed 15 passes for 110 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Javion Joseph-Fontaine who rushed 2 times for 15 yards.

Topsail’s Jack Lambert threw for 31 yards, KALEB MAYBERRY picked up 13 rushing yards and Zach Hobson had 23 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 4-1 on the season while Topsail falls to 3-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will challenge the South Brunswick Cougars at home on Friday September 30. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Topsail will face off against the North Brunswick Scorpions at home on Friday September 30. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
