Hoggard Vikings cruises by J.H. Rose Rampants 38-14 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Hudson Wilharm accumulated 138 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide the Hoggard Vikings to a 38-14 win over the J.H. Rose Rampants on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back M’Kel Bellamy who rushed 12 times for 44 yards and Alex Rodriguez who rushed 1 time for 39 yards.

J.H. Rose’s Jysen Shepherd threw for 120 yards and 1 touchdown, Jaidon Lovett picked up 31 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Justin Biggs had 87 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 2-1 on the season while J.H. Rose falls to 1-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will challenge the North Brunswick Scorpions at home on Friday September 15. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
