Hoggard Vikings edge Jack Britt Buccaneers 44-40 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring picked up 263 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 44-40 win over the Jack Britt Buccaneers on Friday night at Fayetteville, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received vital efforts from running back David Hunter who rushed 26 times for 66 yards and Jason Arciola who rushed 8 times for 16 yards.

Jack Britt’s QB Quarterback threw for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB RunningBack picked up 58 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR WideReciever had 164 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 2-0 on the season while Jack Britt falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will face off against the Clayton Comets at home on Friday September 5. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
