Hoggard Vikings cruises by Topsail Pirates 52-12 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring racked up 249 passing yards to guide the Hoggard Vikings to a 52-12 win over the Topsail Pirates on Friday night at Hampstead, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received vital efforts from running back David Hunter who rushed 17 times for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns and halfback Gage Henderson who rushed 5 times for 15 yards.
Topsail’s QB QUARTERBACK threw for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB RUNNINGBACK picked up 33 rushing yards and WR WideReceiver had 165 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 7-0 on the season while Topsail falls to 0-8. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Hoggard will challenge the E.A. Laney Buccaneers at home on Friday October 17. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
