Hoggard Vikings beat E.A. Laney Buccaneers 28-14 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring had 271 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 28-14 win over the E.A. Laney Buccaneers on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received key efforts from running back David Hunter who caught 4 passes for 108 yards and Aamere Montgomery who rushed 7 times for 22 yards.
E.A. Laney’s QB Berry threw for 142 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Cortes picked up 46 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Huff had 99 receiving yards.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 8-0 on the season while E.A. Laney falls to 4-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Hoggard will challenge the North Brunswick Scorpions at home on Friday October 24. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
