Hoggard Vikings crushes Clayton Comets 38-14 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring accumulated 169 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 38-14 win over the Clayton Comets on Wednesday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back David Hunter who rushed 21 times for 104 yards and 3 touchdowns and Aamere Montgomery who rushed 8 times for 41 yards.

Clayton’s QB Quarterback threw for 162 yards and WR WideReceiver had 151 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 3-0 on the season while Clayton falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard travels to Cary, NC to take on the Panther Creek Catamounts on Friday September 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
