Madras White Buffaloes edge Stayton Eagles 44-40 in OR high school basketball game

Madras High School - Madras Post Matthew Suppah Scott led all scorers with 15 points as the White Buffaloes beat Stayton Eagles 44-40 in a game at Madras High School.

Suppah Scott's points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 8 free throws during the game.

Ethan Whieldon added 8. Stayton fell to 9-4 overall while Madras improved their record to 12-3.

Stayton's next game is scheduled to be played at Cascade High School on Tuesday Jan. 21 versus Cascade. Madras will travel to Gladstone High School on Tuesday Jan. 21 to play Gladstone.
