Madras White Buffaloes edge Gladstone Gladiators 53-49 in OR high school basketball game

Gladstone High School - Madras Post Reed Simmelink led the way with 17 points as the White Buffaloes beat Gladstone Gladiators 53-49 in a game at Gladstone High School.

Simmelink's points came on 7 field goals and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Jase Schmidt added 18. Gladstone fell to 5-10 overall while Madras improved their record to 13-3.

Gladstone's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 24 versus Estacada. Madras will host The Dalles on Friday Jan. 24
