MHS - The Dalles' David Chavez led all scorers with 27 points as the Riverhawks beat Madras White Buffaloes 58-53 in a game at MHS.

Chavez's points came on 3 field goals and 7 three pointers during the game.

Warren Wallulatum added 13. Madras fell to 6-4 overall while The Dalles improved their record to 1-0.
