St. John’s High School MYLES SLADE had 97 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide the <a href=’/washington-dc/football/teams/228533-st-johns-cadets’ alt=’St. John’s Cadets’> St. John’s Cadets</a> to a 42-14 win over the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups on Saturday morning in a high school football game.
The Cadets also received crucial efforts from ISAIAH FRENCH who completed 8 passes for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns and da’juan Riggs who rushed 8 times for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Gonzaga Prep’s quarterback Jojo Shortell threw for 31 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Sam Ohman picked up 66 rushing yards and wide receiver Bo Howell had 31 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps St. John’s improve to 2-1 on the season while Gonzaga Prep falls to 1-1. This morning’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
