St. John's Cadets crushes Gonzaga Prep Bullpups 42-14 in District Of Columbia high school football game

St. John’s High School MYLES SLADE had 97 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide the <a href=’/washington-dc/football/teams/228533-st-johns-cadets’ alt=’St. John’s Cadets’> St. John’s Cadets</a> to a 42-14 win over the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups on Saturday morning in a high school football game.

The Cadets also received crucial efforts from ISAIAH FRENCH who completed 8 passes for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns and da’juan Riggs who rushed 8 times for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Gonzaga Prep’s quarterback Jojo Shortell threw for 31 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Sam Ohman picked up 66 rushing yards and wide receiver Bo Howell had 31 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps St. John’s improve to 2-1 on the season while Gonzaga Prep falls to 1-1. This morning’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

St. John’s will take on the Tottenville Pirates at home on Saturday September 17. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
