O’dea Guard Owen Moriarty led all scorers with 18 points as the Fighting Irish beat Ballard Beaver 59-42 in a game at Ballard High School.

Moriarty’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Drew Herrman added 12. Ballard fell to 5-5 overall while O’dea improved their record to 9-1.

Ballard’s next game is scheduled to be played at Eastside Catholic School on Tuesday Jan. 11 versus Eastside Catholic. O’dea will travel to Garfield High School on Tuesday Jan. 11 to play Garfield.
