Cheney Blackhawks beat Rogers Pirates 61-48 in Washington high school basketball game

Cheney Guard Jakeb Vallance led all scorers with 17 points as the Blackhawks beat Rogers Pirates 61-48 in a game at Spokane Arena.

Vallance’s points came on 2 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Deon Kinsey added 14. Rogers fell to 8-7 overall while Cheney improved their record to 6-12.

Rogers’ next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 31 versus Clarkston. Cheney will travel to North Central High School on Friday Feb. 3 to play North Central.
