University Titans edge Eastmont Wildcats 70-69 in Washington high school basketball game

University Point Guard Tyler Nelson led all scorers with 28 points as the Titans beat Eastmont Wildcats 70-69 in a game at Eastmont High School.

Nelson’s points came on 8 field goals, 2 three pointers and 6 of 8 free throws during the game.

Reese Gallagher added 27. Eastmont fell to 5-4 overall while University improved their record to 8-0.

Eastmont’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 6 versus Sunnyside. University will travel to Lewis & Clark High School on Tuesday Jan. 3 to play Lewis & Clark.
