Gonzaga Prep Bullpups cruises by Mead Panthers 56-21 in Washington high school football game

Gonzaga Prep High School quarterback Ryan McKenna picked up 182 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups to a 56-21 win over the Mead Panthers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Bullpups also received crucial efforts from running back Matteo Saccomanno who rushed 14 times for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Tyler Gustaveson who rushed 1 time for 92 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mead’s colby danielson threw for 80 yards and 1 touchdown, schuyler harkness picked up 50 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and max workman had 29 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 4-0 on the season while Mead falls to 1-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep travels to Liberty Lake, WA to challenge the Ridgeline Falcons on Thursday September 30. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Mead travels to Cheney, WA to challenge the Cheney Blackhawks on Friday October 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
