Mead Panthers edge Lewis & Clark Tigers 21-17 in Washington high school football game

Mead High School quarterback Colby Danielson accumulated 147 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide the Mead Panthers to a 21-17 win over the Lewis & Clark Tigers on Friday night at union Stadium in a high school football game.

The Panthers also received major efforts from running back Schuyler Harkness who rushed 11 times for 78 yards and JAXSON MERRIEX- WEBB who rushed 4 times for 11 yards.

Lewis & Clark’s quarterback Charles Northern threw for 39 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Gentz Hillburn picked up 84 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Stephan Cox had 15 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Mead improve to 3-5 on the season while Lewis & Clark falls to 3-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Lewis & Clark will face off against the Pasco Bulldogs at home on Tuesday November 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
