La Salle Lightning crushes Wapato Wolves 26-0 in Washington high school football game

La Salle High School cooper young accumulated 99 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the La Salle Lightning to a 26-0 win over the Wapato Wolves on Thursday night in a high school football game.
The Lightning also received key efforts from Jim jones who caught 2 passes for 100 yards and 1 touchdown and John Smith smith who rushed 1 time for 5 yards.
Wapato’s wide receiver Thompson Parrish threw for 38 yards, running back Tyron Garcia picked up 145 rushing yards and running back Diego Fuentes had 16 receiving yards.
The win helps La Salle improve to 1-4 on the season while Wapato falls to 0-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
La Salle will challenge the Toppenish Wildcats at home on Friday October 15. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
