Toppenish Wildcats crushes Wapato Wolves 77-0 in Washington high school football game

Toppenish High School running back Timmy Torres accumulated 147 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help the Toppenish Wildcats to a 77-0 win over the Wapato Wolves on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Wildcats also received crucial efforts from quarterback Joshua Perez who completed 4 passes for 79 yards and 3 touchdowns and linebacker Seth Ordaz who rushed 3 times for 41 yards and 1 touchdown.
Wapato’s wide receiver Thompson Parrish threw for 60 yards, running back Tyron Garcia picked up 47 rushing yards and wide receiver Enrique Espinoza had 53 receiving yards.
The win helps Toppenish improve to 5-0 on the season while Wapato falls to 0-4-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Toppenish travels to Connell, WA to face off against the Connell Eagles on Friday October 8. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Wapato will face off against the La Salle Lightning at home on Thursday October 7. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
