East Valley Knights edge West Valley Eagles 21-20 in Washington high school football game

East Valley High School safety Diezel Wilkinson accumulated 198 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the East Valley Knights to a 21-20 win over the West Valley Eagles on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Knights also received helpful efforts from outside linebacker Joe Hofstee who rushed 9 times for 44 yards and 1 touchdown and linebacker Ryan Conrath who rushed 1 time for 17 yards.

West Valley’s quarterback Raesean Eaton threw for 25 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Ethan Carrell picked up 78 rushing yards and wide receiver Grady Walker had 23 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps East Valley improve to 5-3 on the season while West Valley falls to 5-4. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams.

East Valley will take on the Deer Park Stags at home on Friday September 2. In their previous matchup on Friday September 3, the East Valley Knights held on for a 17-15 win.
