East Valley Knights edge Clarkston Bantams 10-7 in Washington high school football game

East Valley High School safety Diezel Wilkinson picked up 132 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide the East Valley Knights to a 10-7 win over the Clarkston Bantams on Friday night at CVHS in a high school football game.

The Knights also received impressive efforts from outside linebacker Joe Hofstee who rushed 6 times for 4 yards and defensive tackle Zay Baker who .

Clarkston’s carter steinwand threw for 45 yards and tiger carrinbger picked up 34 rushing yards.

The win helps East Valley improve to 6-3 on the season while Clarkston falls to 4-5. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday October 8, Clarkston came out in front, 10-7.

East Valley will challenge the Deer Park Stags at home on Friday September 2. In their previous matchup on Friday September 3, the East Valley Knights held on for a 17-15 win.
