Gonzaga Prep Bullpups defeat Central Valley Bears 28-21 in Washington high school football game

Gonzaga Prep High School running back Lilomaiava Mikaele accumulated 150 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to help the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups to a 28-21 win over the Central Valley Bears on Friday night at Central Valley HS in a high school football game.

The Bullpups also received vital efforts from quarterback Jojo Shortell who rushed 13 times for 45 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Noah Holman who rushed 11 times for 74 yards and 1 touchdown.

Central Valley’s defensive back Dylan Gravelle threw for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns, linebacker Danner Smith picked up 59 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and defensive back Hudson Dayton had 114 receiving yards.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 6-1 on the season while Central Valley falls to 3-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep will challenge the Mt. Spokane Wildcats at home on Friday October 21. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Central Valley will take on the Ferris Saxons at home on Thursday October 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
