University cruises by Sandpoint 42-14

QB Gavin Wolcott accumulated 174 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide University to a 42-14 win over Sandpoint on Friday night at Roos Field.

The Titans also recieved key efforts from RB Terrell Sanders who rushed 15 times for 131 yards and 4 touchdowns and FB Hunter Gregerson who rushed 5 times for 81 yards.

Sandpoint’s RB Logan Garcia threw for 67 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Dillan Mitton picked up 50 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Alexander Stockton had 40 receiving yards.

The win helps University improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

University will challenge the Post Falls Trojans at home on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Sandpoint will challenge the Lewiston Bengals at home on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
