Mead Panthers beat Lewis & Clark Tigers 34-17 in Washington high school football game

Mead High School quarterback JO SONNICHSEN racked up 136 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead the Mead Panthers to a 34-17 win over the Lewis & Clark Tigers on Saturday night at Union Stadium in a high school football game.
The Panthers also received key efforts from wide receiver CARSON TUCKER who caught 2 passes for 85 yards and 1 touchdown and running back CALEB SHAWEN who rushed 14 times for 74 yards and 1 touchdown.
Lewis & Clark’s quarterback Wyatt Potter threw for 114 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Gentz Hilburn picked up 59 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
The win helps Mead improve to 1-0 on the season while Lewis & Clark falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
