East Valley Knights defeat Rogers Pirates 34-21 in Washington high school football game

East Valley High School Henry Stevens accumulated 183 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead the East Valley Knights to a 34-21 win over the Rogers Pirates on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Knights also received helpful efforts from Jayden Wilkinson who caught 7 passes for 115 yards and 1 touchdown and Caden Katsel who rushed 14 times for 98 yards.
Rogers’ wide receiver Anthony Deerfield threw for 31 yards, wide receiver Tyson Moore picked up 95 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and wide receiver Anthony Deerfield had 31 receiving yards.
The win helps East Valley improve to 2-2 on the season while Rogers falls to 0-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
East Valley travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the West Valley Eagles on Friday April 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Rogers travels to Othello, WA to challenge the Othello Huskies on Friday April 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
