West Valley Eagles cruises by East Valley Knights 49-14 in Washington high school football game

West Valley High School running back Malachi Clark had 288 rushing yards and scored 5 touchdowns to lead the West Valley Eagles to a 49-14 win over the East Valley Knights on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Eagles also received key efforts from Nick Toole who completed 8 passes for 49 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Chase Steubing who rushed 9 times for 53 yards.
East Valley’s Henry Stevens threw for 115 yards and 1 touchdown, Caden Katsel picked up 68 rushing yards and defensive back Joe Hofstee had 69 receiving yards.
The win helps West Valley improve to 4-0 on the season while East Valley falls to 2-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
West Valley will take on the North Central Indians at home on Friday April 9. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
East Valley will face off against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats at home on Friday April 9. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
