Central Valley Bears defeat University Titans 25-6 in Washington high school football game

Central Valley High School quarterback Luke Abshire picked up 216 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Central Valley Bears to a 25-6 win over the University Titans on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Bears also received crucial efforts from wide receiver Nic Saunders who caught 7 passes for 79 yards and running back Terence Kelley who rushed 11 times for 46 yards and 1 touchdown.

University’s quarterback Tre Buchanen threw for 13 yards, wide receiver Dayton Thompson picked up 21 rushing yards and wide receiver Kevin Schroeder had 10 receiving yards.

The win helps Central Valley improve to 4-1 on the season while University falls to 0-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Central Valley will face off against the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups at home on Friday April 9. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
